ImageThe work shop is a vocational area which gives the students a friendly safe environment to practice and experience hands on practical skills.  Students participate in a wide range of activities which include health & safety, tool recognition and use, measurement, planning and design and a variety of practical tasks, which include the completion of individual projects. The work shop, also allows the students to experience personal developments skills by accessing the community which builds individuals confidence in a work related environment.

All first year students attend the work shop session as part of the curriculum.  Second and third year students have the choice to progress in this area and broaden their knowledge, and to improve their transferable skills to prospective employers.  It is hoped that students will progress into some form of related employment, training scheme, or hobbies.

Students have a chance to achieve various NPTC and ASDAN qualifications within the area.
